Italian Quinoa Salad to add to your Healthy Recipe Collection.
I’m not exactly sure what you’re suppose to use Quinoa in but I’ve tried it with Strawberries and Cream for breakfast and today I made an Italian Quinoa Salad that was loaded with a few of my favorite veggies along with Trader Joe Balsamic Glaze. It was so yummy so I had to share it with everyone.
How to make Italian Quinoa Salad
- 1 Cup of Quinoa (make according to package directions)
- 1 Cup cut up tomatoes
- 1 Cut up Cucumber
- 1/2 Cup Feta Cheese (I used Herb and Garlic)
- 1/2 Cup Trader Joe Balsamic Glaze (this is amazing, if you haven’t tried it go out and get some now!)
Step 1 – Cook the Quinoa according to the package instructions
Step 2 – Cut up the Tomatoes and Cucumber
Step 3 – Mix the Quinoa, vegetables, cheese and Balsamic Glaze together in a bowl and serve
I used what I had on hand but I think red onion, peppers and black olives would be delicious in this salad too. If you don’t have any of the Trader Joe Balsamic Glaze available using a simple Italian Dressing or any Balsamic dressing would work too.
